Balancing horses, & people and horses

                           About Me

As long as I can remember I have had a passion for animals, big and small. Horses especially fascinated me with their beauty and strength.  My childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian somehow got lost growing up, but I always wanted to find a way to give horses and other animals something back for everything they give to us.

The holistic approach came naturally to me because of my many personal positive experiences with naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, reiki and, foremost, yoga. Through consistent yoga practice (and sports massage sessions), I managed to build stronger and flexible muscles. My lower back issues (a result from a bad fall on a trail ride) became a thing of the past. Having experienced first hand the kind of impact a healthy body and mind had on my life, it required only a small step for me to move to equine bodywork.

Following is a list of certification courses, workshops and seminars I have attended - the learning curve is ongoing, so watch this space for new additions:

Equine Sports Massage Therapy with  Mary Schreiber, Equissage
Equine Sports Massage with Debranne Patillio, Equinology
